ADB Volunteers at Ronald McDonald House Charities: Making a Difference Together

SAN ANTONIO, TX - ADB volunteered at Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of San Antonio this past Friday, June 12th. ADB volunteers spent their time learning about RMHC’s mission to assist those in need and preparing a meal for twenty-five parents and children currently staying with the program. Our team collaborated with Sandra Jones, the Family Service Manager, to serve a spaghetti lunch with garlic bread, salad, and dessert.

ADB volunteers: Troy Andrews, Robert Gantt, Emily Bonilla, Rodney Guzman, Shayne Coyle, Rudy Ytuarte, and Roland Teneyuca.

Ronald McDonald House programs are a home away from home that provide comfort, support, and resources to families who travel far from home for the medical care their child needs. RMHC believes that families are stronger when they are together, and this is never more important than when a child is sick or injured. When a family is focused on the health of their child, nothing else should matter—not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal, or where they will lay their head at night.
