As the new school year begins, ADB is proud to celebrate the success of our annual Back to School Drive—a company-wide initiative that brought together our teams, our values, and our commitment to community. From June 30 to July 21, the A-Team across the country rallied to collect essential school supplies for students in underserved communities. The goal was to support 200 students—but thanks to the incredible generosity of our A-Team, we far exceeded that.
In total, the drive collected over 2,600 school supply items, reaching 866 students across multiple school districts. Participating offices included Villa Ridge, Pacific, San Antonio, Akron, Brea, Lansing, Grandview, Lockport, Oklahoma, and Memphis. Each location played a vital role in gathering donations like crayons, notebooks, glue sticks, scissors, and disinfecting wipes—items that may seem small, but make a big difference in a child’s day-to-day learning experience.
One standout moment came from our Villa Ridge office, which delivered supplies to the Grandview R-II School District. Superintendent Matt Zoph expressed heartfelt appreciation for the donations, which were proudly displayed at the school’s reception desk. It was a powerful reminder of how even simple acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.
At ADB, we’re known for building infrastructure—from fiber optic networks to utility systems—but we also believe in building up the communities where we live and work. Our Back to School Drive reflects that belief. It’s not just about giving supplies; it’s about giving students the confidence to walk into the classroom prepared and supported. It’s about showing families that they’re not alone, and that their community cares.
We want to extend a sincere thank-you to every A-Team member who contributed. Whether you donated supplies, helped organize collections, or volunteered your time, your efforts made this drive a success. You’ve shown that ADB’s commitment to excellence goes beyond the job site—it lives in our culture, our values, and our people. Together, we’re not just building networks—we’re building futures.
