Quality That Builds Trust

At ADB, we’ve never believed trust should be asked for—it should be earned. From day one, our approach has been to let our work speak louder than our words. Every project, every partnership, and every handshake has been an opportunity to demonstrate accountability, consistency, and craftsmanship in action.
For Justin DeRousse, who has grown alongside ADB through different roles and challenges, this principle has always been at the heart of what makes the company stand out.
“We earn trust not by words, but through consistent quality, accountability, and doing things the right way—every project is a chance to prove it.”

That perspective isn’t aspirational; it’s the lived reality of how ADB operates on the ground. It’s what customers see—and why they continue to come back.
The story of ADB isn’t just about the number of years we’ve been here—it’s about what those years represent. Over three decades, the industry has transformed dramatically. Technology has advanced, customer demands have grown, and the scale of projects has expanded. Through it all, ADB has adapted without losing the foundation that set us apart from the beginning: a refusal to cut corners, a commitment to doing things right, and a culture that understands quality isn’t negotiable.
That commitment extends beyond the technical side of the job. Quality is as much about the relationships we build as it is about the projects we deliver. Our customers know that when they work with ADB, they’re not just getting a finished product—they’re gaining a partner who is invested in the outcome. Trust doesn’t end when a project is complete; it creates momentum for the next opportunity. Many of the partnerships we formed decades ago are still going strong today, fueled by a proven track record of follow-through.
What makes that possible is the people. From field crews to engineers to leadership, ADB is powered by individuals who care deeply about their work and about one another. Justin recalls that what struck him most early in his career wasn’t just the scope of projects, but the sense of shared purpose among the team. That culture—grounded in trust, accountability, and support—has been the backbone of ADB’s ability to grow while staying true to its values.
Of course, growth hasn’t come without challenges. Taking on larger, more complex projects in major markets required learning to evolve quickly. Change became a constant, but rather than resist it, ADB embraced it. As Justin puts it, change isn’t something to fear—it’s a sign of momentum. That mindset has allowed ADB to stay ahead, delivering cutting-edge solutions without ever compromising the quality that defines us.
Looking back at some of the proudest moments in our history, the throughline is always the same: quality work that earns lasting trust. Whether it was completing a complex, multi-phase project, responding quickly to customer needs, or celebrating internal milestones, each success reinforced what matters most. Recognition and awards have been meaningful, but the real achievement has been the confidence we’ve built with our partners over the years.
As we reflect on 30 years in the industry, we see more than just longevity—we see proof of what happens when a company chooses to measure itself by the quality of its work and the trust it earns along the way. Those values have guided us this far, and they’ll continue to define ADB for every project ahead. Because trust doesn’t come from promises—it comes from showing up, doing the work right, and letting quality speak for itself.
One of the best feelings is when the Retro Bowl College board looks almost full, but I manage to clear everything with one clever placement. It’s like a fresh start and pure satisfaction.
The emphasis on accountability and long-term partnerships resonates deeply. It’s a bit like playing Escape Road: every level is about adapting to change and proving your skill, step by step. ADB’s journey shows that the same principle applies in business—keep showing up, keep doing things right, and success follows naturally.
